Group Dog Walker
What we are looking for is.......
-
Someone who is physically and mentally fit to walk up to 6 dogs on leash for a minimum of one hour

Drives a dog accessible vehicle that is insured in BC with a clean driving record

Has a smartphone for pictures and communication

Capable and confident working independently

Trustworthy, reliable, friendly and patient

Strong communication skills and an understanding of dog body language
-
DogSafe first aid is a bonus!
What you will be doing........
-
Picking up and dropping off dogs from their homes in your own vehicle during working hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm

Walk up to 6 dogs on leash while also working on manners and basic cues ( training will be completed with s certified dog trainer)

Building a trusting relationship with each individual dog and client

Dress for the weather, rain, snow and summer heat

Report any incidents directly to admin team

Always practice a fear free, positive reinforcement approach with all dogs in your care

Starting wage is $18/hr with an opportunity to grow plus mileage allowance
